Our approach to privacy

Ximple is built for security and clarity. We process only the data needed to provide the service, keep accounts safe, and make the product better—never for advertising or selling to third parties.

Data we process

  • Account data: name, email, auth identifiers, and role assignments.
  • Product data: accounts, budgets, transactions, debts, and activity you add.
  • Technical data: device/browser metadata and performance events for reliability.

How we use it

  • Provide and secure the service (authentication, authorization, fraud prevention).
  • Improve reliability and product experience through aggregated analytics.
  • Communicate service updates, incidents, and billing where applicable.

Your rights & controls

  • Access/export: request a copy of your data; export tools are being expanded.
  • Delete: close your account or request deletion; some records retained where legally required.
  • Preferences: manage notifications and cookie settings in your browser.

Retention & transfers

  • Retain account data while your account is active; delete or anonymize after closure, subject to legal holds.
  • Backups and logs rotate on fixed schedules; access is limited and audited.
  • Vendors follow contractual data protection and confidentiality requirements.

Security by design

TLS in transit, encryption at rest, access logging, and role-based controls.

No ads/retargeting

We do not sell data or run third-party ad pixels. Analytics only for product reliability.

Your data rights

Access, export, rectify, or delete your data; we honor valid requests promptly.
